Today’s Photo:  On Friday, I featured a view of the Derwent Valley from a mountain, known as Sleeping Beauty, which is a landmark in the Huon Valley, south of Hobart.  Sleeping Beauty can also be seen from parts of the Derwent Valley.
It gained it’s name from early pioneers of the Huon Valley, whose imagination allowed them to see the outline of a sleeping maiden.
This photo was taken from Mountain River, a rural community near Huonville.   (Yours Truly)
