FRIDAY MORNING RADIO, Edition 466, 9.00 ~ Midday AEST

Easy listening, memories and new releases through the morning, with an emphasis on ANZAC Day, on the Derwent Valley’s own radio station.

Unfortunately, the programme was seriously disrupted between 10:45 and 11:25 by a computer crash. There was a time in radio when such an event was unheard of; in those days, music was played from turntables or cartridges.

Computerisation has rendered those practices obsolete and it is generally highly reliable, but, if the computer decides to give trouble, the programme presenter has a serious problem.

Today’s issues were rectified by our technical guru, Roz Chapman.
