In Loving Memory of Paul Meagher (alias ” Paul Marr”).

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Paul Meagher, an integral part of our radio station family.

Paul was more than just a colleague — he was a friend, mentor, and a driving force behind our station’s success and history.

Paul brought passion, dedication, and a unique spirit that touched the lives of everyone he worked with and every listener who tuned in.

During this difficult time, our thoughts and deepest sympathies go out to Paul’s family, friends, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Paul was the producer of Music Unlimited, heard each Sunday at 6.00 a.m. on TYGA-FM 98.9.

With his passing, the future of Music Unlimited is very much in doubt; next Sunday’s edition will likely be the last.

Paul was a passionate, lifelong radio man, very well respected at Seaside FM, the station where he voluntarily served after a long career in commercial radio, and in Eastern Passage, Nova Scotia, Canada.

Although I never had the privilege of meeting him in person, his warmth of character was apparent, even from the opposite side of the world, here in New Norfolk.

Deepest condolences go to Paul’s relatives, colleagues, friends and listeners, from everyone in TYGA-FM.
